My client is an industry leading global provider of advanced NDT/NDI services to oil, energy, mining, defence, maritime and aviation organizations with plans to significantly grow their Asian business.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the cost effective, remote delivery of our advanced NDT business, on and offshore, in SEA; from marketing and sales through to execution and reporting. Protecting and growing the company's reputation via consistent delivery of high-quality services.
The role will report to the Global Technology Services Manager (based in UK); working closely and collaboratively with other regional and local business leaders and colleagues.
Of graduate calibre, you will have demonstrably broad and deep specialist knowledge of advanced NDT methods, industry standards and codes; ideally to include Level 3 certification in UT (PAUT, ToFD, IRIS, LRUT).
The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge and Level 2/3 certifications in ET (ACFM, NFT, TT, MFL) and RT.
With excellent written, verbal and ICT skills, you will be confident in preparing, analyzing and delivering written reports; leading technical investigations and delivering work-winning presentations to clients in support of bids and sales.
A results-focused team player, you will know how to motivate, manage and get the best out of technical staff; ensuring their safety, engagement, productivity and continued professional development.
You will also liaise with equipment suppliers and support the development and validation of new equipment and techniques to maintain market leading capabilities within your Country.
