Job description
2-year fixed term contract
To support my client's growth, I'm seeking a motivated NDT Technician to work predominantly offsite within the Stratford upon Avon area. You'll be engaged on a fixed term contract working 50 hours per week.
You will carry out NDT of weld repairs on rolling stock, and collaborate closely with my client's small team of welders.
As an NDT Technician, you will also be responsible for assisting with the specification, documentation, and verification of NDT requirements for Tecforce and their clients. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all NDT activities within the business align with industry requirements, particularly BS EN 15085.
If you do not meet all the criteria set out in the 'Job requirements' (MT & VT certification is a must) but can demonstrate most of the skills and experience, my client is looking for, together with the honesty and enthusiasm to learn and develop in those areas you have less experience in, please do still apply.
My client specializes in providing a wide array of services to the rail rolling stock industry, including repair, overhaul, consultancy, testing, and training. With expertise dating back to 1994, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for many of the rail industry's largest and most renowned companies. Their order book is expanding - an exciting time to join!
