Job description

Are you an NDT technician, with PAUT and ET experience, who relishes the challenge of devising solutions to inspection requirements in the nuclear industry?

Are you excited about embarking on a journey towards a carbon-neutral world?

Do you want to be part of a team that values it's members; where you can build your career within a company that encourages and supports your growth - a genuine prospect of progression?

If so, I want to hear from you. However, there's more to tell: My client is a research and expertise centre focused on electrical power technology, with a team of over 300 employees from diverse backgrounds.

As part of this team, you will play an important role as an NDT expert, inspecting critical components of nuclear power plants and conventional thermal power stations in Belgium and abroad.

Of course, those with experience in the nuclear sector would be ideal, but would also consider those from other sectors, e.g. oil and gas.

As a project leader, you will coordinate (both technically and organisationally) the tasks assigned to you. This would involve drawing up a schedule, managing budgets and monitoring the technical quality of inspections. This may mean getting your hands dirty and carrying out the inspection yourself. You will deal with customers: developing a task's scope, preparing an offer, and maintaining close contact whilst the service is being performed and afterwards.

You would perform specific tests devised by yourself; in other situations you would observe and qualify procedures produced by other specialist companies.

You will work alongside a supportive team, and have access to professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.

If you have the required qualifications, experience and skills, then we want to hear from you.
