My client has obtained impressive financial backing to develop and propel their inspection product to the global inspection market.

Purpose of Role

An innovative and pioneering company, developing andmanufacturing market leading ultrasound equipment for the aviationand automotive industries, currently seeks the expertise of anexperienced sales manager.

With proven leadership and strategic experience, the NDT SalesManager will take a global perspective on NDT market opportunitiesand lead the sales team in the assessment and prioritisation ofgeographic as well as industry related market sectors.

This individual will have the opportunity to reorganise andexpand the current commercialisation infrastructure, optimising thecompany's current market value, and visible product placement.

They will also be required to drive the development andexecution of a progressive new commercialisation strategy, focusedinitially within aviation and aerospace, allowing for the phasedintroduction of, and expansion into, other industrymarkets.

Responsibilities andDuties

Leadership:

Deliver strategic leadership for defining the commercial path togrowth and profitability of the company and the establishment of aneffective growth process and infrastructure.

Develop collaborative working relationships within theorganisation (CEO-COO-CTO) in pursuit of the company's overallbusiness goals.

Manage, supervise and mentor subordinate team members'activities (Sales Specialists)

Sales:

Develop and implement the company's sales strategy across keymarket segments to ensure that the company identifies and optimisesa clear path to aggressive growth.

Assess, build and manage an array of necessary channels capableof delivering on the company's growth objectives. Including, forexample:

o Direct sales

o Enterprise sales

o Distributors Lead sales channels to meet and exceed revenuetargets.

Knowledge, Skills andAttitudes Required

Ability to use independent judgement and to manage and impartconfidential information.

Demonstrated experience in developing AND executing successful commercialisation strategies in NDT Market.

Supervisory, employee development, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of current and emerging equal opportunity andaffirmative action legislation, issues, and trends in personnelmanagement.

Knowledge of, and desire to implement, team building principlesand techniques.

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyse,summarise, and effectively present data.

Knowledge of concepts, practices, principles and procedures ofstrategic business planning and reporting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability towork effectively with a wide range of industries (Aviation andAerospace as highest priority) and market levels.

Strong analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinkingskills.

Knowledge of fiscal principles to oversee budgets and financialactivity within the areas of oversight.

Location

This will be a UK based role. The base location will be a matter for discussion with my client.

Salary andBenefits

Salary to be negotiated based on experience. Includes generoussales bonus and company shares provision.
