Summary of Role

Are you an NDT sales specialist looking for a new and exciting challenge?

An innovative and pioneering company, developing and manufacturing market leading ultrasound equipment for the aviation and automotive industries, currently seeks the expertise of an experienced NDT Sales Specialist, with the drive and ambition to be a part of the development of a new worldwide sales effort for a ground-breaking Ultrasonic Testing technology. My client has ambitious plans to scale up and penetrate other industries, and these plans are confidently backed by impressive investment.

The desired candidate will have expert knowledge of ultrasonic methodology and equipment, as well as a proven sales and profitability track record within NDT Sales. This individual will have the opportunity to help the business grow and develop their customer base, whilst working and collaborating closely with the existing and expanding sales and marketing team. They will have the full support of and will directly report to the NDT Sale Manager in striving towards this goal.

This role is based in the UK but will include and require extensive travel across Europe.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop and maintain customer relations, targeting and cultivating new business.

Provide in depth and expert product knowledge and training to customers to boost sales and provide ongoing support.

Identify and target customers based on research and evaluation of industry prospects, in order to boost sales.

Maintain a commitment to continued professional development and technical training within the NDT Sales industry.

Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal and professional networks, participate in professional societies, attend and partake in Trade Shows.

Keep abreast of industry trends and developments/ market and competitor activities with a view to identifying potential product improvements and upgrades.

Participate in new product trials and launches.

Prepare market forecasts, by collecting, analysing and summarising pertinent information and reporting directly to the NDT Sales Manager in order to facilitate sales and support the team.

Essential Skills

Possess the knowledge and ability to articulate NDT technical equipment/product's competitive strengths and advantages to customers.

Proven record of meeting and exceeding capital equipment sales goals in NDT industry.

Proven technical experience in NDT industry.

Prior experience of NDT Digital applications.

Ability to work and travel within Europe.

Desired Skills

Ability to research and maintain up to date market knowledge, keeping abreast of all competitive developments.

Provide existing and transferable customer relationships within NDT industries.

Must be able to work independently in a dynamic, and fast paced environment.

Must be willing to share knowledge and skills with the sales team, facilitating cohesive and productive communication at all times.

Extensive administrative skills and experience.

Salary and Benefits
