Job description
I'm looking for a highly skilled and motivated NDT Site Manager to oversee and coordinate my client's contract to deliver all NDT operations at their customer's nuclear site in UAE. I will also consider those with Oil and Gas NDT project management experience.
As an NDT Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and completion of outage projects. You will be responsible for sourcing and managing the extra manpower required, through a team of Project Managers that will report to you.
To ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction, the ideal candidate should have excellent project management skills, technical expertise and experience in NDT, and a strong ability to lead and communicate effectively. In addition, you must possess commercial acumen with an eye to continuous business development.

Work Pattern
Outage (3 per year, lasting 55 days; 2 weeks preparation beforehand): 12 hr shifts, 6 days per week.
Outside of outage: Mon - Thu, 3 days off in Abu Dhabi (2.5 hrs drive).
Responsibilities
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive NDT project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and identify resource needs.
Project Execution: Coordinate and manage all aspects of NDT on-site service projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budget. Allocate resources and equipment, monitor progress and address any issues or challenges that arise. Leads the preparation of NDT test reports and studies, maintenance of NDT instructions and procedures, maintenance of NDT equipment and development of NDT testing techniques.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to field service technicians and support staff involved in the project. Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise. Responsible for maintaining good business relations with business partners.
Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations. Implement appropriate quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and manage potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement corrective actions as necessary to minimize project delays or budget overruns.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, change orders, and other relevant records. Generate regular project status reports and present updates to management and stakeholders as required.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the field service department. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to optimize project delivery and customer satisfaction.
